The purpose of the project: reconstruction of the premises and arrangement of an inclusive, rehabilitative, developmental and motivating educational space of Municipal Institution of Higher Education «Khortytsia National Educational and Rehabilitation Academy» of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council.
Municipal Institution of Higher Education «Khortytsia National Educational and Rehabilitation Academy» of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council is a unique educational establishment of Zaporizhzhia region.
Khortytsia National Academy conducts innovative educational activities related to the provision of higher education in several fields of knowledge. The developed infrastructure of educational, scientific and scientific-production units promotes fundamental and applied scientific research, facilitates the dissemination of scientific knowledge, enables to host and organize cultural and educational activities, functions as a leading scientific and methodological center.

On October 3 and 11, 2022 the building of Khortytsia National Academy, where 337 schoolchildren and 1,113 higher education students were studying, suffered considerable damage as a result of a missile attacks in the city of Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attacks on the institution, the main building of the academy needs major repairs. The level of destruction of the building is medium, the construction of the building is almost undamaged. The blast wave knocked out 95% of the windows, knocked out and gutted the interior doors; the ceiling, the floor in the classrooms and rooms of all three floors, furniture, equipment and three computer classrooms of the academy with the corresponding equipment were damaged. The material and technical base, rehabilitation equipment and the library fund were damaged by 50-60% (according to a preliminary estimate), the roof was completely destroyed and needs major repairs. After the first rain, leaks were found from the third to the first floor in most of the facility's premises. The gym and the canteen were destroyed by 90% (only the walls remained). As a result of the damage to the heating system, educational and didactic materials, documentation and partly the archive were damaged by water. Up to 40% of the fence, green areas and the greenhouse were damaged.
